Let's get the word out about Harbor!

Mar 29, 2024

A study last year revealed that 92% of people trust word of mouth recommendations above ALL other types of advertising. The best way to get the word out about a service or product isn't billboards, social media or mails outs - it's life on life recommendations.

With that in mind, we need your help getting the Good News of

the Harbor out. We have printed tons of business cards and flyers that we'd

love to put into the hands of people in our community. You are the missing link

in that transaction – we need your help!

I realize, many of us are intimidated offering advice to friends

and strangers - however the conversation doesn't need to feel awkward or

canned. In fact, offering someone the help of the Harbor can come during a

natural and fluid conversation.

To give you an example of how this might be done - Pastor Jeff has recorded a special podcast this Friday called "How to share the Harbor." It will include an example of just how unforced a conversation offering the Harbor might go.

In this episode, Pastor Jeff reveals a conversation with a stranger he met at the gym – and how that conversation led into him sharing the Harbor with him. After doing so – the stranger not only took the flyer but also remarked “Me bumping into you today wasn’t an accident.”

Friends, we live in a community full of folks for whom the Harbor can help. We aren’t selling something – or offering needless products – we are offering a life-preserver to the people who live in the mental illness capital of the world (Florida). Let’s do our part – and share the Harbor.
