God is moving at Gracelife. We're renovating our building, rebuilding the Welcome Team, and bringing back student ministry — so there's room for whoever walks in next.
Why now?
Sunday attendance has grown every year since we moved into this building — up 7.3% last year and another 7.8% this year. That's a great problem to have. But our facility has some very real bottlenecks: parking, restrooms, and space. People want to come. We need to be ready for them.
Don't merely ask people to come. Prepare for them to come.
Enlarge the place of your tent; stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs.
The first seven minutes
A first-time guest decides how a place feels in about seven minutes. Where do I park? Which door? Is there a line for the bathroom? Where do my kids go? Did anybody notice me? Here's what we've heard from folks who visited once and didn't come back:
I came for a few weeks, but nobody talked to me.
I didn't know where to park or where to go.
Nobody called me back.
It just felt like there wasn't room for me.
The result? One-and-done. They come once and don't come back. Not because of the sermon, but because of the parking lot, the bathroom line, and the cramped nursery. That's fixable. So let's fix it.
The plan
This isn't just a building project. Making room is physical, relational, and generational — and your gift fuels all three.
Where the money goes
Every dollar given to the Making Room Fund goes straight into the renovation. Here's the punch list.
